I will probably buy a K5IIs, but I am going to wait until the spring, hoping the price is closer to $1k. My K10 is still going strong, and I picked up a cheap K-01 for my video needs. I will either retire the K-10 and make the K-01 my backup/travel camera, or sell the K-01 and use my K-10 as a backup.

Hoping the Pentax lineup for 2013 is:

K-02 - entry-level camera at $500, mirror less, new design creates a better grip. Its cheap because it has no pentaprism, is not weather or temperature sealed.

K-30 - already out

K5II & IIs - price dropped to $999 and $1,050. despite only seen as modest upgrades, will sell like hotcakes once price is lowered.

K3 - Not the full-framer as expected, but K5 body with 24mp sensor. Priced at $1,400, there is no AA filter in the model. Will likely sell poorly because the IQ is not that great a leap from 16mp sensors.

K300 - Here is the full frame model, set for release in summer.

Is this K300 info just a guess or actual speakage?
