I use the B+W 1.8 6 stop ND filter and like it. They all shift colors some. B+W tends to shift toward the longer wavelengths, so reds and oranges get bumped up a bit. The Hoya I have tends to produce a green cast. For scenes without a blue sky, the B+W definitely produces better results (for me). For scenes with a blue sky, I either have to pull back on red and orange, or get one exposure without the filter for the sky, or use the Hoya.

Hi Greg,

I had the Hoya for long time ago and I noticed also the green cast on the pictures, and sometimes it is hard to eliminate it switching channels with out affecting the other colors.

Last Friday I bought a B+W ND filter and I noticed the red and orange color cast that enhanced the colors of the leaves on the rocks and water.
