I suspect you are a troll, since you haven't been back to your own thread in the week since you posted it, but you never know....

It would be helpful if you told us a little more about your expectations.  What is not being met that a different lens would satisfy?  Similarly some sample photos would help us figure out what is dissatisfying.

Two other points.  First, far too many people think that different gear will magically improve their photos.  In reality user work and effort has by far the biggest effect.  Simply upgrading gear won't help.

Second, the idea that you can get awesome equipment dirt cheap is IMHO fundamentally flawed.  Yes, you can lots of great results from inexpensive equipment - be it legacy glass or inexpensive current equipment.  But ultimately quality costs money.  Each user has to decide whether the marginal improvement is worth that additional cost.  But Canikon users pay $10,000+ for long quality glass for a reason - its really good stuff and delivers exceptional image quality.  Expecting that quality for $400 ......
