Santa Barbara, California

I was out and about in postcard-perfect weather yesterday, in and around Santa Barbara City Hall with two friends, using my LX5 on a variety of subjects. I love how creative you can be with the LX5's features. Most straight OOC. Hope you enjoy. C&C always welcome.

I like how the glass acted like a prism (ground floor City Hall)

I wanted to capture this lamp's projection

Stairway to this historical landmark's second floor (City Hall)

From the City Hall's observation deck

This classical guitarist, playing on the observation deck, hails from a small town near my wife's birthplace, Leige, Belgium. BELOW: I liked how the light reflected off the strings.

Attempt at some Picasa 3 PP technique

A really nice gentle man, retired and living the simple life in Santa Barbara

Self-portrait reflection

This says it all about Santa Barbara

Clock Tower of City Hall

I liked the colors and shadowing

Old and new
