Btw, I don't use filters on my lenses.  My focusing technique is weak and putting anything in front of my lenses would just expose my flaws even more.  That is in part why I bought E version of D800

As it is, you can fix this with a little spot healing in Photoshop and not have to worry about it. I'm with you on focusing technique. With diabetes and older eyes, my abilities get worse and worse.
