To me it reveals that sensor size still matters the most when it comes to low light performance,  even if some people try to sell small sensors as being equal to the larger ones.  There might be some difference between the P7700, G15 and LX7, but it is insignificant.  All of them perform badly in low light. That is one reason why I am disappointed that neither Nikon, Canon or Panasonic opted for a larger sensor in their new releases...

...now I know that I made the right decision with my G1x, was getting worried that I made the wrong choice after everybody was raving about the great pictures of these small sensor cameras... ...that might be true in bright daylight, but my personal experience is that you have a lot of opportunities for great shots in low light situation, which you just can't materialize with these cameras...
