Canon S110 or Sony RX100?

The Canon S100 is the past.

Now, which is better?

The new Canon S110, or the recently released Sony RX100?

I think both are good, but in different ways.

The Canon S110 is still the better 27mm thin compact camera, with a capacitive touch screen to boot.

Meanwhile, the Sony RX100 is still the better midsize 36mm thick midsize compact camera, with a superb huge 1 inch image sensor, but without the latest capacitive touch screen.

The Sony RX1 is a superb "large" compact camera with a huge full size image sensor.

All three are great, but in different ways - and horses for courses; am I right???
