Here is a sample image from the event I shot the other night. It doesn't get much tougher than this. I was shooting handheld at 1/100th and f/2.8 at an ISO of 11454 (auto ISO selected) with my 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII Nikon lens. Frankly, I was surprised when I saw what Aperture listed as the ISO setting on this shot. It's a whole lot cleaner than I would have ever expected at that ISO. The lighting at this event was awful, so I really had to push the camera and myself outside my comfort zone to get the image. The D800 performed extremely well in such challenging circumstances.
