Aperture & libraries
I apologize if this question has been answered on the forum. I have searched, but unsuccessfully. Nor have I found the answer in the Aperture help files.
Here's what I want to do:
Like lots of us, I have a large number of image files over a period of several years. I don't need immediate access to previous years, but I would like to be able to access them relatively easily. i.e. have all 2009 images on a hard drive that I can plug in and tell aperture to access that library. Currently all images are on my internal drive (which is frighteningly near capacity!). My idea is to have current year on the internal drive, previous years on external drives.
(and yes, all my data is well backed up)
I feel like it SHOULD be easy, but I'm missing something obvious.
Thanks in advance!
