Yes, very probably was the Lock-On turned SHORT the main difficulty i felt. Now i already turned in OFF.

Do you thing the same setting will apply to the car races? Whose others sports do you think i can  apply the same setting?

Last week i bought a Nikon D800, and i already have found in the web different settings for LOCK-ON in sport applications, since Normal till Long .

Do you already have some experience with the D800 concerning sports? Which do you thing will be the best setting for car races and bikes races?

On every camera I can remember  (D2's-D3's) I found lock on best turned off for motor sports but I have no experience with the D800.... for field sports the default normal LOCK-ON seems to work well for me, just never liked it for motor sports.

I would like to hear what you think of the D800 after shooting some racing.
