Fine piece of thoughtful prose. I could not agree more.

Have been shooting Olympus since late '70's - from OM-1n through E-1 through OM-D EM-5 and countless models in between. It is a dirty shame that I need to bag the EM-5 and pull out a Nikon D300 in order to catch even the most simple bird-in-flight shot.

I'll be first in line for a new Oly dSLR (I love my Zuiko glass) that can give me Nikon/Canon level pro-sumer AF (and I mean a fully realized AF system - ie, why does Oly even pretend the EM-5 has C-AF never mind C-AF With Tracking functionality?) 6-9 fps and a big, bright optical viewfinder...
