IMO if you have a telephoto on hand that will really show the influence of mirror shake, however what your tests show is that clearly a 50mm is perfect to shoot handheld with full confidence that mirror slap is pretty meaningless.

To me I'm not a huge telephoto enthusiast so I only need a camera to be free of any mirror slap issues up to 135mm focal lengths at 1/100th, etc or 85mm at 1/60th, etc.  There are some mirrorless camera's that can't even shoot at these equivalent focal lengths without shutter shake problems.
