First real macro shots
I've never really done macro work (at all), but I recently came accross two reasonable opportunities with spiders. The first spider is a Golden Orb Weaver found while hiking in Congaree National Park, in South Carolina (U.S.). The second is a barn spider, found on my back deck in Virginia.
Golden Orb Weavers are huge, this one measured over 5 inches total. This was taken with the kit lens (I left the macro in the car) at ISO 1250. OMD.
The barn spider was taken with the OMD with the Oly 50mm macro with the MMF-3. ISO 1600.
