haven't talk with you for a while, isn't it .? Unfortunately I have so little time to make bird pictures.

I think your shots will be nice too, though the birds in your dry area are quite different as this ones which are living near water.

By the way the hide is made of concrete and covered by grass; that's why I don't use a tripod; the lens rely on a rice bag that rely itself on the small aperture made in the hides; I experienced that it stabilize the lens better than a high end tripod and a gimball head.

I'm looking for a zoom lens by the way to compliment the 600; A Pentax tele zoom is on the roadmap but it looks a bit short; a 200 f4 -400 f5.6 would  be nice; what do you think ? May be I would go for a 150-500 sigma
