Pentax should take a marketing lesson from Nikon
1

All during the summer we heard rumors of the Nikon D600. Nikon casually stated they would announce the camera before Photokina and it will be on store shelves at least by December. Canon, who's motto seems to be just stay even with Nikon so we can keep our loyal fan base and we'll stay number one, needed to compete so they announce the Canon 6D about the same time as Nikon did and that it too will be on store shelves by December. Ha ha, take that Nikon. Then Nikon pulls a fast one, their camera will indeed be on store shelves before December, way before, in fact it will be available one week after Photokina on September 18th. Now Nikon is 'makin' hay while the sun shines, and Canon users will still need to wait until December to see their new model. Pentax can learn here. They should make the new K3 available on store shelves about a week after they announce it this January. This might make for some happy Pentax campers.
