All the beautiful bird pics have inspired me. This is the always agile Jayhawk, native to Kansas. Although they do often migrate to neighboring states..........

Is it looking for a worm or preparing for takeoff? I have tried to photograph this species but they are usually too high up in the trees. It is very unusual to see them on the ground.
