Re: My experience

I just tried sending an email to the programs writter (in english and russian using an online translating program) to ask if nikon would know if a third party program has been used on the camera and to see if the process of mapping is reversible. I will keep you posted if he responds.

Anything special in how you run the program bud? Mine wont detect the cam - 5700 v1.0 and winXP. Running PTP in camera for USB. I'm at a loss as to whyu it doesn't pick the camera up. Windows recognizes it fine. (the batt was low, and Im charging that now - but i dont think it shpould be the reason)

I believe PTP is the correct for Windows XP. What has worked for me
in the past is to connect the camera, allow windows to recognize it
the remove it from the Device Manager. Restart windows, then plug
the camera back in and let XP find it all over again, using the XP
drivers. If this bothers you a little, create a restore point
before removing the camera from Device Manager.
