if I am wrong or way off the mark in my PMA prediction. I do not care about model numbers and will not guess about specs, except the 1Dxx will be 8 mega-pixel CCD :-)

D60 replacement with an MSRP of $2499
1D replacement with an MSRP of $4999

Margin of error on the price of 10%

Both models available Mid-March to Mid-April

I will be at PMA, and remember the bet goes both ways :-)

I don't drink but I may have to start if they don't come up with an improved D60. I just want better focus capabilities and would not mind a 1.3 crop! The rest of the camera could stay the same although I doubt Canon would keep the replacement at 6.3 megapixels.

it really screws up the search feature if you add "Vicegrips" to it! I didn't mention the pliers or the wire because that was just too obvious!

I'll bet you a drink that the d60 replacement will be 6.3MP, 7 point AF, 1.6 crop and will cost about 1,495.00
