Anorther stationary subject shooter that can't compensate 0.3 stop

Couple things. I do take my mirror out of my a33 sometimes, but then again I enjoy MF most of the time.

Shooting stationary subjects only? Try MF for focus tracking with telephoto lenses! Or other kinds of action photography!

With that being said, I agree with you that the SLT mirror hurts more than it helps. Unfortunately, I don't think sony agrees.

Ok, then show us some valid samples! With 2. generation SLT cameras I can't see any difference without and with the mirror and I have never seen samples documenting such a difference.

Also, why not just compensate with 0.3 stop exposure? Or jump ship?
