The same boat here about midstation between HX20V and RX100.

I guess you will have to go down in your expectation of lens (little bit slower like f/2.8-4.5) in order to keep it still pocketable yet bigger than RX100, but that is not the point. The point is, why don´t we have this product here. Any Idea?

Anyway If you compare ISO tests of DPR between HX20V, TZ30 or cheapie Powershots, you find (on the globe), that Sony failed SO MUCH about IQ at ISO100-400, that it is not even funny. And you know you need higher ISOs due to the slow lens. Too bad.
Why does he do it?
