Exposure routine

Couple things:

3) Can you tell us a bit more about the shooting style? Just leave the camera on "P" and snap away? Auto-ISO? Auto white balance? I keep hearing to just "trust" this camera and let it do the work for me, but that's so opposite of what I'm used to. It makes me uneasy

Most of these shots were done in S mode (choose SS and let MM or Spot choose aperture), in auto ISO. Outdoors, good light, AI at 400. Indoors, mostly AI 3200.

But I sometimes go back to Manual, using MM/Spot just as reference. The V1 is actually easy to use in manual, contrary to my early impression.

I have used it in full AUTO Scene mode, it actually does a pretty decent job, but still I like to be able to choose SS to make sure I won't miss image because of camera shake. With the dslr I actually use M all the time and spotmetering, very old-fashioned.
