Third party lens for Sony are overpriced

First, let me apologize for violating the cardinal law of bringing up a topic discussed previously.

Secondly, does anyone really believe it costs Sigma money to remove the IS from the Alpha mount lens? If so, I recommend leaving it in the lens and saving the money. They would then be great lenses to use on the NEX series with the LA EA2 adapter. Why make that adapter to use A lenses on NEX but make sure that IS will not be available if you do so?

Thirdly, having previously owned Canon lenses, I would point to the 70-200 F4 without image stabilization and with image stabilization. Both were available and the one with IS was several hundred dollars more expensive which makes perfect sense.
