Powershot SX120 IS VS SX150IS
Well, finally I bougt cheaper second hand SX120 IS in hope, that they will release some better machines than XZ-2 or P7700 (smaller, different, more advanced) on spring 2013, which will meet my expectations for that price. Current pieces are not worth for me.
I can say, that Canon made great job for that price. Only pain is that this beast eats A LOT!. Took about 40 shots to get first set of cells depleted. Then I found it would save cells if I lower the screen brightness, continuous AF and stabilisation off, So I can have about 80-100 shots now. Have to buy NiMhs or something more powerfull.
Anyway I went to make some tests, which turned to be pretty good.
Then I went to my garden and tried to take some pictures of plants and so on.
Those beasts was a bit aggresive, so I could not go near enagh. Anyway good results for 90 bucks!
If you are about to bux SX xxx IS, please, lower sharpening level in your camera, and sharpen in PP SW. It will make a difference about noise, and pixels out of position...
(I´m still too conservative about sharpening)
