In the end does it matter??

This is a feeling I can sympathize with.

While we don't need a camera with less features, as we can just opt not to use the features ours have, it is always nice to go back to a simpler approach to photography.

Every once in a while I just set everything to manual, get a nice lens with a good amount of focus throw, and go on about photographing like I used to do while donning the FM2. Slow, careful and timed. Every decision is measured. I even try to avoid reviewing the images. Take a few shots, move on to the next subject. It's quite a zen experience.

What I would like is a camera built to the same standard as the FM2. Silumin body, titanium shutter blades, the whole shebang. A tank-camera. That would be nice.
