Does the new Fuji XF 18-55mm lens make the 18mm f/2 obsolete?

I agree, we cannot really judge anything until it is in our hands. It could be great, it could be ok, or it could be not so ok. I think there is biggest chance it is OK lens in the sense the 18mm was ok.

I'm awaiting some good thorough testing before I plunge for X-E1 + 18-55 but for fashion/portrait stuff I shoot it looks a good replacement for D200+28-70
