I'm in agreement with you amalric. The Lomography afficionados are going to be disappointed with this lens! Yet again, the lenses that Olympus produce make it less likely for me to upgrade my camera body.

I'd much rather buy this body cap and the 60/2.8 macro than the E-PL5 etc. What I notice about the 15/8 is the lack of flare. Two shots directly into the sun, without flare? Also, it looks like there is very little distortion or vignetting, going by the bookstore shot.

I think I could manage fine with the 15/8 and the 60/2.8 as my daytime travel lenses, keeping the faster primes for the evening.
