Welcome, and nice shot!
1) I was thinking of getting nx200 later on as it is quite a bit cheaper than the newer models. Is the AF speed much better than with nx100/11? Do the newer ones have even better AF? The main reason for upgrading would be the better high ISO performance
No, I think AF speed is about the same. High ISO will be better if you shoot RAW.
2) Is the 18-55 in nx200 bundle the newer one with a metal mount? I might want to change to that one as it seems more durable.
No, that comes with the NX20 or newer. Maybe find a used one on ebay if you have trouble with yours or something.
3) I've used picasa and gimp so far but they seem cumbersome. Picasa is nice for keeping pics in order but lacks decent PP. Gimp on the other hand seems quite hard for more than one pic. As I shoot both raw and ooc jpgs do you have any recommended programs that I should use? I am still student so I should get some nice discounts. I was pondering between different adobe products but wasn't sure on what to pick.
I think Lightroom is the best balance between post processing, organization, and everything. Download a trial from adobe and see if you like it.
