Consider the

Tamron/Konica Minolta 28-75/2.8 lenses. I think these do a great job for portraits.

So... updates ... i ended losing the freaking bid. Blargh! bangs head on the table

So... Next choices:

a) Get a 85 f2.8 to complement 16-50 f2.8

b) Get a 135 f2.8 ( idem )

c) Get 85 and 135 f2.8

d) Get a zoom lens that has a higher focal range of 50 ( something between 75-105mm higher range, like tamron 28-75 f2.8, cz 16-80 or sony's 16-105, although these two last are not as quick ... )

e) Just earn more money and get a decent f2.8 zoom

The problem is that i'm lacking some crucial tools ( the portrait focus lenght ) and the budget doesn't let me... let's say ... go out and get a 70-200 f2.8 from Tamron or Sigma , for now.

Thank you for the replies guys
