Do you mean that iPhones have "real" GPS receivers, ones that can receive signals from satellites rather than from cell towers and WIFI hotspots? That would be big news and even Apple has not made that claim. I know there are a lot of devices that can be connected to iPhones and Android smart phones that will do that.
