raw and only raw

My workflow across all the systems I shoot is raw as the starting point. Auto WB is nice and all that, but I think WB is an artistic choice - I used to do a lot of cross processing in the film world, and sometimes shot tungsten film in daylight and vice versa... I've got Adobe's Camera Raw beta that supports the RX-100, and it's lightyears better than what Sony gives you.

I don't buy any camera that doesn't support raw, and support it properly.

In this case, there's a good 1/2 stop of highlight detail recoverable in raw, and noise reduction in adobe's raw lets you apply it gently... very slight NR required at ISO 800 and ISO 1250. That's a measure of this camera's greatness.
