This is a great shot... No buts.

To say this looks unnatural, because the RX100 camera is capable of doing what your equipment has not been able to accomplish is quite insincere.

The colors, exposure, and even fine details are beautifully and naturally rendered in this difficult lighting... And all this was accomplished with a jpeg out of diminutive point & shoot camera.

hmmm... in a way this is a great shot, but it also looks very unnatural to me. Did you use fill-in flash, in-camera HDR or some kind of PP? I'm used to seaside shots and often struggle with the light in such situations (live close to the beach, backlighting almost by definition here).
