Most of your experience echoes mine. I would say the new Foveon to me seems to have more chroma noise though.

To be specific, at ISO 100 and when pushed (a lot) in SPP, DP2M appears more controlled than DP2 with regards to magenta/green noise (NR at minimum).

This has not been exactly my experience. I am noticing more color splotches with the newer model. But the DP2 had its own casts too- but I will admit i need more experience at ISO 100 to make a more categoric call on that. At ISO 200 for sure, but given it's pushed ISO 100 it kind of makes sense.

But dealing with ISO 100 is probably the easiest way- just treat ISO 100 as you used to treat any ISO on the DP2.

Yes. And while DP2M may have less highlight headroom at ISO 100 than 200, it's still on par with the old model.

Keep in mind the total DR in ISO 200 and ISO 100 is actually the same. The only thing that happens is that in ISO 200 the DR is shifted so you get more highlight but the shadows suffer. I would say on a quick pass that yes, the total DR seems about same with the old model.
