I find it best to set a high ISO. Better a bit of noise than an unsharp image.

So I generally use my 200mm Nikkor at ISO 800. The aim is to get a speed of at least 1/100 and preferably higher.

On a 100mm I use ISO 400 or 800 depending on the light.
