Canon flash on Nikon

But they are smart flashes and depend on communications between the flash and camera. For example, Nikon CLS uses focus distance and ambient light information for the flash operation so, some modes won't have the data from the camera.
As a basic flash in manual mode, it should work. For full automation, it might work in some modes but not others.
