focusing "from the hip" OM-D
I just bought the OM-D after owning several MFT cameras, including the GH2.
My favorite way of shooting is to mount a 7-14 lens on the camera and shoot straight from the hip as I walk through a city. Never picking up the camera to my eye, makes me shoot quickly and very inconspicuously
The GH2 had a feature that was fairly easy to set and to use:
using a separate button you could set the focusing field to cover the entire scene and let the camera find the closest focusable point and focus on it.
The results were always pretty good and focus was quick, giving me a high keeper rate.
Now with the OM-D in hand, I am trying to find same setting, bu it seems pretty difficult to do.
Does anyone have ideas on how to find this setting and assign it to a Function Button?
