6D Image Quality

I've seen lots of talk about the 6D's specs, but not much discussion on image quality. I can live with all of the self-inflicted shortcomings Canon implemented to prevent cannibalization of the 5D, as long as the image quality measures up to the 5D III.

I'm hopeful that the slightly lower resolution will actually give the 6D an edge due to the higher pixel pitch - but then again, maybe Canon also decided to intentionally hobble IQ, so that it too falls between pro and consumer, like the rest of the spec sheet.

Has anyone seen any data on the performance of the sensor yet? I've seen the initial sample images from canon, but the images that are a better test of sensitivity / ISO performance are not posted yet. Any other image sources out there yet?

Is there any hint as to whether it will be at least comparable to the 5D III? Or will we just have to wait until the test results come in?
