yes, flip-out screen could have been one of the few (almost) unique features among the many FF cameras that are available now or soon. No excuses for leaving it out, they could easily have produced a camera with flipscreen AND even lower weight/size - but that would have required a new body and they prefer recycling old stuff.

This is not competitive as an enthusiast-semi pro camera. Having an 11 pt AF with only a single cross-type point is a ridiculous dealbreaker.

it must be the most expensive camera with such a low AF spec; at least Canon wins there
