Re: Problems with Phottix Odin

I am fully aware of what the speedlight is doing with a Manual power setting of 1/128. My point was that the problems seem more to do with the receivers than the speedlights.

With fresh batteries and at ETTL settings, I could not get a series of quick exposures without one or another of the receivers misfiring.

In HSS the number of misfires increased. In normal mode, not HSS, the number of misfires varied. As I am assuming the speedlights have enough power, again freshly charged Sanyo Eneloop batteries, than the only variable has to be the Odin system.

The reason for purchasing these was to achieve RF control over the speedlights in HSS mode shooting sequences of action. Am I to assume this setup will not do that?
