That's incorrect, at least for some of DonParrot's photos. I haven't analyzed them all, but here are a couple of animated gifs I put together that CLEARLY show the focus plane moving in sync with the dogs. This erroneous assertion has already been conclusively debunked.

Exhibit #1 - Three photos combined into an animated gif, focusing on the ground, so you can see the focus plane moving with the dogs:

Exhibit #2 - The first and third photo from the first exhibit animated and very carefully aligned so you can pick a stone or other feature that's in front of the focus plane in the first picture and see it come into focus by the last picture:

These were taken before the 1.2 version of the firmware was released, btw.
