Lenses for forthcoming honeymoon!

Hi all,

Apologies if I'm posting this I'm the wrong place (have had a bit of
a search) but am finalising my lens setup for my forthcoming honeymoon
and would value your opinions...

I've currently got a 500d with kit lens and 50mm 1.8. Will probably
stick with this body for now, although have been tempted to eBay it
and switch to 60d or similar.

In terms of lenses, I was originally looking at the 70-200 f/2.8 IS
but having looked around and read some reviews, I'm thinking of going
with the f/4 IS, for the cost saving but more importantly for the
weight saving, as we are doing a climb while we're away and a lot of
my photography is based around hiking. Also, this should leave me
enough budget for a wide angle lens. At the moment, I'm looking at
the Canon 10-22 and Tokina 11-16 - would value any suggestions as to
which would be a better choice. Only other consideration with the
2.8/4 choice on the 70-200 is the smaller filter ring on the f/4 - had
been hoping to only buy 1 CPL, as I'm planning to spend a reasonable
amount and get a good one.

I think this should give a fairly nice range with something at the
wide end, the prime (which I love) and a nice zoom (am keen to do some
wildlife). I've held out for a long time on upgrading my lenses but
want to make sure I have the right setup for the trip!

Many thanks in advance.

Canon EOS 500D (EOS Rebel T1i / EOS Kiss X3) Canon EOS 60D
