They once roamed the earth
From the family Chelydridae, this prehistoric looking creature's natural range extends from southeastern Canada, southwest to the edge of the Rocky Mountains, as far east as Nova Scotia and Florida and as far southwest as northeastern Mexico.
Fitting that I photographed this with my "prehistoric" 40D. Canon 70-200 2.8L + 1.4x. ISO 1600 (I am not afraid). Thanks for looking.
