If you're okay spending about $300, if not less, keep an eye for Tamron 90mm f/2.8. Or, get Tamron 60mm f/2 which is going to be more.

The 90mm is full frame, has a focus limiter and superb lens. The 60mm is APS-C frame, perhaps better focal length for portraits on APS-C (and offers 1-stop max aperture advantage at non-macro distances). And despite shorter focal length, manages similar distance since it has an internal focus system (lens does not extend).
