Matin Bags - Any good? Can't afford a Billingham.
Anyone out there with any experience of these bags?
In particular I am looking at the Matin Maple 130. I've seen a couple in the flesh and they look like pretty good bags, however there is very little about them in terms of reviews. I'm interested in how they hold up over time and how well does the bag carry when full.
My husband really wants a Billingham Hadley Pro but he can't justify the cost for a new bag and he has never actually seen one and doesn't know if it fits a magazine (which he tells me is a must). The shoulder bag (he doesn't like backpacks) is needed for overseas travel and needs to take a K5 with 18-135mm and 55-300mm lenses with one attached, binos x 2 pairs (he'll need to carry mine as well), compact camera, hyperdrive, filters, SD cards, battery chargers, and magazine(s). Also needs to carry sundries like an ipod. The only other bag he has come across, other than the two above, that he sort of likes is the Think Tank Urban Diguise. He thinks most shoulder bags look ugly and say 'camera bag', this includes all of Lowepro's shoulder bags and Crumpler.
