The End of DX cameras?

Sorry that I have not follow DX camera topics, so I may have missed the DX vs FX sensor discussion here, but with the D600 ($2000?) coming out soon, will Nikon eventually do away with the DX cameras? I see a lot more DX cameras for sale in craigslist. It seems the price for FX size sensor cameras ($3000 D800) are drastically reduced cost from previous D700, D3, D3s, D3x and D4 costs to the point where it makes no sense for Nikon to continue with two sensor sizes for DSLR cameras.
