Not really, because you can take the LAE-2 off and use other lenses with (cheaper) adaptors, or E-mount lenses with no adapter.

You do not have this flexibility with a DSLR.

ItsIt's Personal preference. I will neververy Buy anything that makes my nex5 bulky. I have another. DSLR for that.
