In the case of the RX100 this case adds barely any additional bulk.

However, this is probably not true of the cheaper knock offs, as I have found in the past that whenever I have purchased the cheaper china-made knock offs, they have often been ill fitting when compared to the Sony version (even though they were made with "genuine leather"), and ultimately a waste of money.
