If you are looking for a reason/excuse to upgrade then the built in ND filter and 1/4000 top shutter speed on the EX2 may be one of them.

Yes, I had noticed that, its good that samsung addressed this deficiency, but I would also want a thinner camera and a bit more zoom. At the moment no maker has produced such a model except with smaller sensors. The only one that gets close is sony's RX100 but it only starts at 28mm.
