If you are looking for a reason/excuse to upgrade then the built in ND filter and 1/4000 top shutter speed on the EX2 may be one of them.

But then the ND filter seems to be buried somewhere in the menu, and you loose the ISO button (while getting wifi instead - an insult for serious photographers imho). I might upgrade some day but most likely not to the EX2.
