think about what you like, not what you're missing

samsung users are on the defense too much. you don't need to defend your system of choice, and you don't need to criticize other systems to justify your purchase.

why did you buy samsung? focus on what you like, not what you might be missing and you'll be at ease.

i admit i'm not sure if i'll stick with samsung, but that's just because i'm still not sure what my needs will be as a videographer/photographer, not because it's an incapable system. i also admit i was disappointed to read samsung isn't releasing anything.

But Sony's new bodies are basically hybrids of their existing bodies, with a dial here and a dial there, some wifi- things samsung already had. I'm not bashing on the new releases; i'm just saying new models don't necessarily indicate huge leaps in progress.

would it be nice to have more activity from samsung? sure. but maybe focusing on the activity we can get from the cameras we bought is more important. i've been using the NX10 with 18-55/30mm for two years now. not a long time by any means, but it's been hard holding off on a new purchase. but when i take a step back, you know what, it's been serving its purpose just fine. if it makes you unhappy, then happily buy a new system. if you are happy, be content and keep on snapping.
