45 PCE?

Gang, I'm considering a PCE after seeing some inspiring landscape TS work of Darwin Wiggett. Wanting to expand upon my own landscape work, the 24 PCE seemed like the natural, no-brainer choice. But then I got thinking (dangerous!) -- the 45 could function as a more practical prime, maybe allow for some more intimate/immediate landscape and environmental work, and if I wanted 'wide', I can always stitch (with less distortion and easier stitching, I'd think).

And then there's the macro function... again, 45 seems more practical.

I guess I'm trying to make a case for the 45 vs. the 24 without using either of them, but I don't have the chance to go out and test two $2000 lenses.

Does anyone have any landscape (or otherwise) 45 photos they could share? Any macros? Am I dismissing the 24 too quickly by just making quick assumptions that the 24 is really only 'useful' for landscape/architecture and leaning too much on a 45's supposed 'all around' value?

Thoughts? Photos? Thanks!
